This is what happens when I can't sleep....for TWO nights in a row...the dreaming insomniac is back!
Yesterday was peacebuilder day at school...we had an assembly and a picnic lunch. It was awesome! The kids had a lot of fun.
We're a PI school and last year the target state number on testing was 619...we blew them out of the water and got 648!!!! Yesterday Patrick, our principal brought us tons of goodies to eat before the staff meeting.
Today is not only a major day in history for my beloved country...it's also a day I get to spend at obgyn. (Some people might want to move along now)...
I have vulvodynia...I've mentioned this before on this journal. Basically it means "down there" is in pain almost all the time. I haven't had an appt. in a long time and I think part of the reason I'm not sleeping tonight is that I know it's going to be painful because they've got to do a Pap and it hurts a lot. Usually my pain level is around a 2 or 3...tonight it's at least a 7.
In other medical news, my stepson Jacob came through the bone marrow transplant just fine...now we just need to pray that his immune system can fight off infection for the next year. I imagine he will have to wear a mask everywhere he goes for the next 12 months...and everything will have to be super-clean. We understand that well from my dad...I wash my hands constantly now.
