Another one of those days...
Well I got some great news this morning...my nephew (he's only 2 years younger than me) is engaged!!!! His fiance is really sweet. The whole family is supposed to be coming down next month...I'm looking forward to seeing my bro-in-law and my niece whom I haven't seen in years.
We also figured out our stray cat is pregnant again! She's got bulging sides and is waddling a bit (well as much as a cat can waddle). Oh boy...more kittens. Nick is planning on taking them to a shelter...yeah right...wait'll the little bundles are born and he takes one look at them, lol! I don't mind as long as we get the whole lot fixed before more kittens show up.
Found some shirts online supporting my favourite VP candidate...can't wait to hear to hear Palin speak tonight. I LOVED Fred Thompson's speech last night...I wish he would've been nominated instead...I think he could've been a brilliant president. I still have my "Resistance is Futile...Fred Thompson 11-08" shirt. I also ordered a book about Sarah Palin...but it's on back order...Amazon and my local B&N didn't have it. I'm sure copies were snatched up quickly as soon as word got out there was a book about her.
Listened to THE BLOCK today at work. Honestly, pop really isn't my music anymore, but it's a good album. Their voices still blend great together. Can't wait until I see them in concert on Oct. 8th!
