1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Changed jobs three times...all in the same profession!

2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not making any this year. There's a saying that doing the same thing over and expecting different results is insanity. Well I've been making the same resolutions for the past 5 years with the same results...none got done.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I found out about my friend, Courtney's baby after the 1st even though she was born on the 20th of December...incidentally she's pregnant again :)

4. Did anyone close to you die?
not exactly close, but still missed...Kay Dotrice

5. What countries did you visit?
nada

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A 2nd car that works.

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
October 21, that's when I found out my dad had cancer.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing my multiple subject credential. Being brave enough to change jobs twice (I'll get this right eventually...third times a charm?!)

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to make my SDC class successful.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had a magnet board dropped on my toe that nearly broke it in November. Changed teaching positions shortly after that.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
A casual wardrobe for my hubby :)

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My dad's for facing cancer head on. Sharon for coming to the rescue many times :)

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Rita, for accusing my dad and Sharon of having an affair...blasphemous lies. And Carolyn and Mollie, the lesbian ministers responsible for the closing of the church I attended for over 10 years.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, books, and clothes.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The 20th anniversary Beauty and the Beast convention, seeing Celine Dion's show in Las Vegas.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
"Taking Chances" by Celine Dion

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder? prolly say sadder just because of everything that is happening right now.
thinner or fatter? Thinner. I lost a few pounds...although recently gained a few back.
richer or poorer? Poor as always

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
wrote, prayed

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
worry

20. How did you spend Christmas?
Stuck at home on exile island because Nick had the stomach flu.

21. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
At home with Nick.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
No. Did that in 2001.

23. How many one-night stands?
Two. One on each side of the bed. <---ditto! LOL

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Torchwood and Moonlight

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate anyone.

26. What was the best book you read?
Loving the Heather Wells mystery series by Meg Cabot and the Great and Terrible Beauty series by LIbba Bray. Also assorted gothic manga

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
none really, still loving the same music.

28. What did you want and get?
my Canon Rebel Digi camera!!!!

29. What did you want and not get?
a cure for cancer.

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
Not I Am Legend (don't waste your money). Hmmm...Spiderman 3

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 33 and I honestly don't remember except I know we went to CBU's brunch at some point.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not going to say because I think everything happens for a reason.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Gothic, Steampunk, Gothic-Loli

34. What kept you sane?
my family

None in particular.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I'm sick of the presidential election.

A lot of people.
