Summary: Arthur has managed to achieve a principal role in the Royal Ballet Company's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, having just returned to dancing after a serious injury. However, his co-star Eames might just drive him insane before Opening Night.
When I first came across this fic, I took one look at the concept and assumed it would be full of amusing, if frivolous, crack. I was so wrong. This story is one of the best-written Alternate Universe stories I have ever had the pleasure to read. It's substantial, engaging, and the characterization is so perfect it aches. The look it takes at the world of performance strikes so many chords for me, and it had me utterly believing in Arthur and Eames and Mal as ballet dancers. I could not reccomend it more highly, and hope that you enjoy!

I believe I shall count this as my fill for "Different Medium" in podfic bingo -- not because of the vast majority of the fic, but because of the "interview-style" portion at the end, which is quite different from anything I have done before. And quite the challenge!
Also: I am a bit nervous about Mal's accent. I attempted to give her just a certain phrasing at first, but it kept coming out kinda maybe accent-y. Soooo. I went with it. It's a bit wonky, but I hope it's effective within the story.
Second of all: Emiliana's personal life! OHMYGOD. WHY, SCHOOL, WHY? I really, really didn't have the time to make this podfic. And yet I did anyways. *is an idiot* I'm insanely busy right now with essays. Have not even begun to think about exams. Gahhhhh.
Also, Mr. Darling and I had a really lovely TWO DAY WEEKEND. D: D: D: I KNOW RIGHT? TWO WHOLE DAYS? WHAT IS THIS, HEAVEN? I got lots of paper done, we watched Nostalgia Critic, and I bought a pretty dress to wear to a wedding! ^----^ It was completely lovely. And possibly the last chance I will have in the next few weeks to spend five minutes on myself, so yay.
