First there were werewolves, and then magical spells. It was probably only a matter of time before I wrote this, although it definitely caught me entirely by surprise. XD

Let me know what you think, everyone! <3

Aha, so happy you're liking it! :D The break between the two sections is completely arbitrary, I'm afraid. Curse you, LJ word limits! *shakes fist*

Hello, you! So happy you enjoyed the first part, and as always thank you so much for the amazing comment! :) I can't believe I'm writing a vampire story. But I suppose I should expect anything from this fandom by now, shouldn't I? These boys just do such things to me... and yes. In this universe, vampires must be invited into someone's home before they can enter. (That's one of those pieces of lore that's so very old and makes so much sense to me.)

Completely delighted that the library rang true to you, although I must thank the actual NYU Law Library for looking the way it does. Seriously, I looked up some pictures and that place is just stunning. So completely old-world and musty and lovely. I'm delighted that I was able to make it come to life inside your mind! It's such a grand old institution, that school, that it deserves a grand old library. A complete horror staple -- and this fic definitely comes closest to horror out of anything I've ever written ( ... )

Aha! Was wondering if you would ever tackle vampires XD Since Howl was so freaking awesome XD

Oooh, chilling start! Way to draw in the readers! Kinda terrifying really, so scared for Blaine...

Loved the details and how you set up their meet. TBH Blaine drifting around in his routine trip home was kind of a non-event, and it really felt that way. Hmm, I guess it was the calm before the storm XD

....Was the guy pinning Kurt... Karofsky??!!

Intriguing start to the fic for sure!! Red eyes? I'm not sure I recognize which type of vampire you're going for here, so I'm just gonna shut up and continue reading XD

Lol, I think that everyone wondered that before I did! XD I honestly never saw any appeal in writing vampire!fic, but then I had an idea, and it's a little bit different from the sort of thing that usually happens in this genre in this fandom, so I'm excited to see where it goes! And I'm so pleased you enjoyed the beginning; I have a thing about starting stories in the middle of the action if I can. So pleased that the air of fear is coming across.

Yes, Blaine going home is very much a non-event. Nothing special, just like how he sees his life. (There was a great deal of exposition to get across in this chapter before things start getting crazy, lol.) And a resounding 'no' to your question about the identity of the man in the alleyway. (Although I'd read that scene again carefully just to see who, exactly, is pinning who. ;3) Karofsky is probably back home in Lima somewhere, closeted and in denial and lonely. He never had a Kurt to make him open up ( ... )

Hehe, in that alley scene, I wasn't sure if we were seeing a completely random person or someone we actually knew XD

and i guess you're right about the red eyes. I dunno why i suddenly had the impression that vampire eyes are black... must be all the black eyed Kurts and Blaines on Tumblr XD

Buzzing with excitement XD when are you releasing the next chap??
