I actually am dying to read the conversation that they will have (I have a thing for difficult dialogues, they make me feel humbled and enlightened), but anyway ( ... )

Sorry I had to post that twice because LJ hates me. And I unintentionally made a dirty reference. Oops.

Lol, that's okay! I did wonder for a second, but that makes all the sense. <3

Aha, people do seem interested in hearing that conversation! It would be an interesting one, for sure. I don't know that Kurt would really view Karofsky's role a 'stalking', exactly, though, when all is said and done. I think he would probably be more annoyed at Karofsky for egging Blaine on than anything else. Hmmmm!

Thank you for reading! <3

Oooh. This was amazing. I loved it all. Dave is creepy. Blaine is Blaine. And it all was done very very well.

So happy you enjoyed it! :) It's so interesting to me how, every single time I write Dave, there's such a division in how people respond to him. AND NOW HE IS BACK FOR S3 SO I CAN KEEP ON DOING IT. :D :D :D

So pleased that you found it enjoyable, hon! Thanks for reading! <3

Dave is an interesting character study. I know a lot of people like Kurtofsky. It's not my favorite pairing, but I have seen it done well. I think for me, the two of them don't communicate on the same level. Kurt, when he speaks to Karofsky, doesn't speak the same language. He doesn't speak the same language as Finn or his father at times either, but he cares enough them to conscientiously change his verbiage around them. I don't see him caring about Karofsky enough, at least in high school, to do that. Even if Blaine weren't in the picture. It might work for short conversations, and maybe even a friendly acquaintance, but I don't see it happening in a year for a romance.

There's also that Dave needs to grow and accept himself before he's ready to be in a relationship. I do think Kurt could be a help in that, but Dave, from what we've seen, isn't ready to grow. He has to want to be a better person, and he starting to, but he's not there yet.

You have!! You have ALWAYS loved how I've written Karofsky, bb, right from the VERY beginning! I remember!~ (I think we both have interestingly similar perspectives on Dave, sometimes, so it makes me so happy to see that you read this. :D) I absolutely love writing Karofsky -- perhaps more than anyone else, it's hard to say. I love how conflicted he is, how harsh, and how he always manages to fuck it all up. I find that fascinating. All three of the things you mentioned -- the yearning, the self-insertion, the disdain -- are EXACTLY what I was trying to convey, omg. <3

HE IS BACK!!! IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TODAY!!!!! PARTYYYYY~!

This was amazing. I was feeling so tense and awful and then when Blaine realized that he didn't need to worry it was like I felt that too. Great story.
