Woohoo!! I managed to get this one all finished up before the end of the hiatus!! *party party party* After this point, my Uni tends to pick up a lot, as well, so I'm pleased to have one last fandom hurrah before I get buried in textbooks.

and it's so good too! i just....ahhh. how i wish a situation like this would actually occur on the show. but alas. we don't even know when or if max adler will be back, and god damn it, i really want him to be and for karofsky to come out by the end of the season. it would be so amazing if he did.

I love that you've carried over the redemption and sofening of Dave over into your story and that Kurt and him are able to start somewhat of a friendship. it feels...fairly realistic at least as to how the show has thus far progressed their relationship. and jealous Blaine. he would be. I think he kind of hates Karofsky on principle and then to make Karofsky butt in on his territory with Kurt... that would have him seeing red.

that last scene, with the running and karofsky saying that to Blaine, whoo baby that was awesome! and so, so so how it would go. I just...wow. i love it, i love this, and i can't wait to read the rest. *goes to finish reading.*

I didn't think I'd be putting much of anything out at all! XD But I was fully expecting to see someone else do a take on this idea, and then they DIDN'T, and I was like OH OKAY and speed-wrote before school got too crazy in order to have it out before Season three airs.

MAX IS CONFIRMED BACK FOR SEASON THREE AS OF TODAY BY THE WAY. DON'T MIND ME OVER HERE DANCING IN A CORNER!



I'm sure they won't do anything that I'm hoping they will with his character -- because it's Glee, oh dear -- but I REALLY wish they would, because it would be so fantastic. I desperately need more Karofsky and more Max Adler, seriously, because he inspires SO MANY of my fics and I loooove him. *smishes*

Oh, and I'm so happy you noticed the carrying over of the redemption arc from the show! A lot of the comments I've been noticing lately in K/B circles is about how people don't understand how earlyS2!Dave and lateS2!Dave are the same person, so I wanted to incorporate that shift into this fic to show one potential explanation. I mean, Glee itself shows them as being on friendly terms. And how on earth would Blaine react to that? (Honestly, jealous!Blaine is definitely my headcaonon until told otherwise. I love Blaine, but he's very accustomed to getting what he wants and already hates Karofsky on principle, as you say. Plus, Karofsky can get him riled up in a HUGE way, as we see in Night of Neglect.)
