1.) Kurt's tone- you have such a clear control of Kurt's voice! I was enchanted everytime he talked, because I could visualize him speaking in the exact same way.
2.)CHILLS and TERROR during the confrontation. And the way you lead up to the curse breaking.....oh my goodness! It was just a straight shot to the gut, and then straight to the waterworks.
3a.) The aftermath-I read this story about three times before you had ever posted the first audio, and everytime I read this part, I was SO ready for boykisses and happy endings right away, but everytime I am SO glad that doesn't happen, because it makes it so much more realistic the way you describe it happening.
3b.) Hehe, this kind of goes with that. The part where Blaine is getting patched up, and Kurt describes the way he is smiling - it's like a ray of sunlight, and then you portray every line afterward that Blaine says with that same warmth and smile in his voice! So lovely....
3c.) Until it's heartbreaking.... when Kurt says
"I just can't handle you right now." and then Blaine replies, "Me?" oh....it aches so good, because even though I know how the story ends, it just slams into me like a pound of cement and breaks my heart into little pieces for each boy to take and run with to the ends of the earth. I remember the first time I read the end of this part and I BAWLED, but you should be used to that by now.
Anyways, this was again, just fantastic. The song choice (Yay for Jed Whedon - you are good people <3) was perfect, and just kept me pulled in a little longer, until all I could think of was an episode endcap of mournful camera shots of both Kurt and Blaine (not unlike the endings of several Buffy episodes, now that I've got those Whedon boys on the brain!)
This part just makes me yearn for the next, but I am so enjoying the wait!

First of all, so sorry for the wait on the final part! It's not due to lack of interest at all: I've had a terrible cold for two weeks, and haven't been able to speak aloud without coughing. X_X Makes it hard to record! But I'm mostly better now, and am hoping to get the final part done this weekend. :)
1.) Oh, thank you so much! I love reading Kurt's voice because Chris Colfer really does have such a distinctive voice, and it's so much fun to act out! So happy you feel I have good control of it!
2.) :D :D :D I'd been looking forward to reading that confrontation for ages, oh my goodness! I really wanted to convey the same intensity as in the text, and I'm delighted and flattered that you felt I succeeded -- and that my technique at the end was good!
3a.) I think that almost everyone expected that I would go in that direction, actually, but I always knew that I wasn't going to. I'm glad you think the story is better off as a result. <3
3b.) Even with a broken nose, Blaine is still happy out of his mind at everything working out the way it did. <3 Oh, Blainers.
3c.) ;______; Blaine just couldn't quite get his head around that at first. I'm SO happy that that exchange had a strong impact, because both of the boys are so annihilated in that scene. I'm so very, very pleased that it was emotionally impactful, you have no idea.

XD) I think that Dollhouse music made so much inherent sense for this because it also focuses on individuals who have no control over their lives. And oh, yes, how perfect a set of images to conjure up at the end. <3

Anyway, I hope you are feeling better, bb, and that your cough is gone. Like I said before, I am really enjoying the wait, as this is just the most awesome story, and I really love that you're doing a podfic AT ALL. SO COOL. Not to mention that you have written awesome stuff in the meantime **coughVAMPIRE!FICcough**, so it's not like I'm even suffering. =)
