I think another thing is that its easy to miss details sometimes when you're reading something, especailly since when i see you've updated a chapter i'm all over it like a puppy on a toy. (Never, EVER used that analogy before) So sometimes it miss the smallest details, but listening to it is different because you hear every word. You can't skim read podfics. Not that i skimread your writing >.< gah i need to make more sense, but wow i just looked at the clock and its two in the morning so you'll have to forgive me.
But yes, more personal, more interesting for some reason and, let me tell you a little story, the other day i was re-listening to chapter two of the podfic and there's one point where Kurt is trying to resist obeying, i think, and you repeated some words over and over getting really loud and it scared the shit outta me, excuse my language, but really, i jumped a mile hahha and i never do that with fanfic, not really, so listening was a more unique experiance.
(Hey looks its the return of the monster sized reviews!) I honestly can't wait for more podfic chapters, even though i already know whats going to happen :')
Also, if i begged enough do you think you'd make your other fic into podfics? Especailly the Howl one. That's remained one of my favorites ever in the history of fiction.
I need to stop typing now :D <3

Oh, sweetie, I totally understand about skimming! If anything, I skim more with things I'm super eager to read. I just want to go read it NOW, and consume it ALL, and a lot of little things get missed in that frantic rush. And you're so, so right: you can't skim read podfics. You're forced to listen to every little detail, even the ones you didn't realize were important the first time around. You make COMPLETE sense, and I find the same thing! I'm over the moon flattered that listening to this is such a different experience for you, lovely, and that you enjoy hearing every detail.
I think that it's always so compelling having a human voice read something to you, so I'm nothing but flattered that you find listening to this even more interesting than reading it. <3 Seriously, SO MANY LOVELY THINGS YOU ARE SAYING TO ME RIGHT NOW. And aha!! I was trying to be surprising with that line, and I'm so happy it worked! I wanted to convey the desperation, the frantic swirl going inside Kurt's mind. Looks like it worked!
(And aha, I love your reviews in every shape and size. <3) I can't wait to post the next installment for you! With regards to Howl... maybe! I'm unsure -- podfic is very time-consuming to make, especially with stories as large as these ones. I'd like to make a podfic for Howl eventually, but as I'm starting Uni in the fall I shan't make any promises. :) But I'm so happy that you would be interested!
Thank you SO VERY MUCH for bothering to come back, and for leaving the most lovely things for me to read!! I'm just over the moon that you're enjoying this new experience so much, lovely!!!!!!!
