It was the first thing I did this morning, and I am SO GLAD I didn't wait until you had all of these posted before downloading them!

1.) I hope you take this as the compliment that it's meant, but I never noticed how similar Blaine's odes to Kurt's beauty are to Dave's from Chapter 1....no wonder poor Kurt is soo horrified when Blaine kisses him, regardless of how much he cares about him. Just. chills.
2.) I still continue to be impressed at how you can use your voice to inflect so many different characters (and their emotions) at one time without sounding cartoonish, or too similar. I can distinctly hear each and every voice, and would know any of them now without any need for outward identification. That is the first thing I noticed and one of the most important things for me when listening to a story, especially one I love so much.
3.) I am equally as excited that you are reading your own work as you are. You mentioned that you like sharing how you heard it in your head with all of us, and that is TRULY a gift to me (shall I say us?) =)
4.) Wes. You. Just. Wow.
5.) The tears....I knew this going in that I would be crying by the end of the chapter, just from experience of reading it, but I cannot tell you how much more painful it was to hear Kurt's despair rather than just imagine it. Bravo.

I know these take time, and I am grateful that you are taking the time to update in installments, but I am DYING to hear the rest!!!!

Oh, goodness me, thank you SO very much for saying this!! I worried a bit about posting the chapters individually, and whether anyone would be bothered, but it really does motivate me more to post things for everyone to see than to keep them sitting and doing nothing on my harddrive. I'm so happy that you are enjoying! And oh, my gosh! I'm SO happy for this simply GORGEOUS piece of feedback!! Seriously, thank you so very much!! I will respond to your points one-by-one! :D

1.) You noticed!!! :D Oh my goodness, I was wondering if anyone had picked up on that. Yes, the similarity between their fascination with Kurt is intentional, and very, very similar -- at least in the beginning. What differentiates Blaine and Dave is the direction they take that fascination, and what things become important for them to protect. Kurt has every right to be freaked out by the kiss, and to not know how to handle it at all. He's already been so messed up by what Dave is doing to him, and here comes this boy who's been looking at him a certain way, but then he does something about it. Just... god, poor Kurt.

2.) THIS FEEDBACK IS THE STUFF THAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!! :D :D :D Thank you so, so very much for your compliment to my voice acting! The fact that you find my character voices distinct without being cartooney -- I just. I cannot thank you enough for saying that, seriously. I am honestly preening like a peacock right now, thank you so much. I really try my hardest to give my characters distinct voices, and to emote as best I can. Seeing as this is such an emotional piece, that means SO MUCH to me!!

3.) Gosh, yay! Thank you so much! I'm happy you're as excited as I am. ^-^ It's a little bit wonderful, because reading allows you to interpret the material in your own way -- which is awesome! But it's also so very fun to share how I heard the lines when I wrote them, or how I feel the text. I'm so happy that makes you stoked, as well!

4.) Wes!! :D I loved reading Wes's lines. (His section actually really makes me laugh.) I'm glad they worked for you, bb!

5.) And oh, lovely. *holds you* Thank you s very much. I'm so, so honoured that hearing that scene didn't dampen the emotion at all. Again, this is why it's so lovely to be able to read my own work: that's what the scene sounds like when I hear it in my head, and it's just such a delight to share that with you.
