Fic: "My Body Betrays Me," Chapter Four -- Part One. Non-con Kurt/Karofsky, Kurt/Blaine

So... fun fact. This entire portion started as one bullet point note in my outline for this fic. But it became apparent pretty quickly that the boys had a lot to talk about, and it just... morphed into its own autonomous entity.

Regardless, I hope you all enjoy. :) If this part feels like a great deal of lead-up... it is. Yeah... sorry about that

A Visual Journey through the first part of Chapter four.

You know if anyone else wrote something like this, I wouldn't be able to handle it. I loathe angst and feeling sad but there is something so heartbreakingly beautiful about everything you write it just...blows my mind. So rather than my usual 'flail over how wonderful you are, call the update fantastic, and then go sit curled up in my dorm on the bed and wait for the next update' I've decided to describe this update and my feelings through the power of visual aid! Boom.

So I started out and the image of Blaine holding a sobbing Kurt and Kurt finally being about to tell Blaine about the horrific nightmare that is his life. Well, that looked a little something like this:



I'm an emotional wreck of lovely heart ache and sadness. I get to the point where Kurt is starring at his reflection and he calls himself weak and I'm just about to lose all hope of getting a shred of joy out of this update. Don't get me wrong, this was a masterpiece and like I said, the way your words make me feel transcend my hatred for sadness. But still, I like happy things a whole bunch, you know?

So then we get to the part where Blaine lifts Karofsky's power over Kurt and I was all like



Oh I was beyond thrilled. Then we are bopping along and just as I'm coming down from my happy little 'FREEEDOOOM' high, I too realize that that won't be the last of Karofsky and Kurt and Blaine won't be able to walk off into the sunset hand in hand just yet. I realized more hurt was coming our boys's way and that looked alot like this:

So after my little cry fest, I get to the end and saw Kurt had a plan. I was like, "Hooray, good things, yes?" And then you left it there. And I was like

This chapter hurt so good and I am beyond excited for updates because



...and now I'm gonna go sit in the cornor and wait for the next part to be posted. Some things never change...

Firstly, I completely agree with everything this post is.

Secondly, you may have just convinced me to invest in collect GIFs for expressing reactions, cause seriously, nothing works better than actual reactions, though I try to use words most of the time.

OhmyLORD, my lovely, gifs are the very best in the whole world EVER! I completely advocate in starting a gif collection. I only just started recently, and I'm so addicted! Photobucket is perfect for this. :D

Your words are always absolutely stunning, though, I want you to know. <3 There is nothing more incredible than the power of the written word. But I still love throwing in Darren Criss FREAKING OUT or Chris Colfer smirking just to give it that extra punch, lolololol I am addicted.

THIS IS THE SINGLE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. BB, YOU DESERVE ALL OF THE HIGH FIVES.



Seriously, honey, thank you so much for this glorious display of emotion and reaction and AWESOMENESS. Ahaha, it basically sums up the whole chapter, doesn't it?? XD And about the angstyness of it all... well, I'm so overjoyed that you're able to read this, despite it being something you wouldn't ordinarily attempt. It means so much to me that you... enjoy?... this so much, and your comments always mean the world to me. <3 THIS ONE MORE THAN ANYTHING BECAUSE LOOK AT ALL THOSE SWEET GIFS.

This chapter... you know, it was one bullet point in my outline? It said "Kurt and Blaine talk". Well. It turns out that the boys had a whole lot to talk about, in the end. And Kurt... he collapsed so completely at the end of the last chapter, and they really needed some time before they could start thinking about "what do we do next". Time to clarify, and reflect, and unfortunately in Kurt's case feel upset at himself for things outside of his control.

AND OH MY GOD I LOVE YOUR ENCHANTED GIF SO VERY MUCH! :D I'm totally stealing it, bb, you know it! ^__^ She is just so sunshine and rainbows and aweeeesome...

But, yes. It isn't over with Karofsky yet. Kurt is in such a vulnerable position every single day, and they need to find a way to deal with Karofsky before any walking into the sunset can be had. :( But at the very least, Kurt now has someone to talk to, and to share with, and to understand. And I think that means a whole damn lot.

And oh, god, the cliffhanger! I'm mostly sorry. ;_; There really was no other way I could split up this chapter, I swear it. Thank you so, so, SO much for this awesome post of awesome! And oh, I love you too, bb. I love you, too.
