The Reason For Emiliana's Lack of Updates
It's been a little while since my last update, for which I do apologize. The good news, though, is that my tardiness is not due to lack of inspiration! Instead, Mr. Darling and I have just been very busy hosting someone at our flat over the past few weeks.
Let's talk about my friend Irene.
Irene, waving like a mad fiend because I told her to and looking at me as though I'm insane.
My friend Irene is one of my absolute favourite people in the whole world. She came from Korea to do an exchange year at my highschool in grade ten, whereupon our math teacher randomly selected me to 'go sit beside her and make her feel welcome on her first day'. My group of friends and I shortly found out that she was CRAZY SUPER WINNER AWESOME, and we all proceeded to cling to each other like leaches.
It was a close decision, but at the end of her year she decided to go home to Korea instead of staying to go to school here. It was really hard for everyone, but she went home -- and we stayed in touch.
And FIVE YEARS LATER she came to stay with me and Mr. Darling for three weeks!! :D :D :D :D :D

Irene is honestly one of the most important people in my life. She completes my group of friends in a way I can't even explain, and having her back here was 100% exactly the same as five years ago right from the start. As a result, I've been fairly busy over the last few weeks spending time with her -- and I'm also happy to say that Mr. Darling and I will be visiting her in Korea next summer! :D :D :D

And that is why Emiliana hasn't been updating lately! So thank you so much to everyone for bearing with me during this absurdly busy patch. Apologies for the delay, but I am happy to say that I'm back on top of working on Chapter Three of "Body" as we speak. :D
You are all awesome, lovelies! I assure you, all things will get written and recorded and read and commented on in good time. :)
