Ahhhh where did this week go?
Monday: worked during the day, watched Raiders of the Lost Ark in the evening with Brett and Steve. I swear to God, I didn't know Brett had so many Nazi jokes in him. That was...entertaining. I miss the days when Harrison Ford was that good looking. Before the movie we went to Veniero's, the pastry place on 11th St. between 1st and 2nd ave. AMAZING pastries. Just go. It isn't that pricy, either, much to my surprise.
Tuesday: worked, had dinner at Gandhi with a friend, came back and did some writing.
Wednesday: worked - I was the office all by myself! Nothing very exciting happened, although I met a guy named Jamie who works next door who seemed like a cool guy. In the evening I went to my meditation class, like usual, then walked up to Madison Square Park with Max, who I really should hang out with more. Did some more writing...
Thursday: went to get a shirt hemmed at a local tailor (dammit why am I so short!?!?!), worked, had dinner with Rahul at a really cheap Indian place a block away from Gandhi - can't remember the name...one of those places where they REALLY compete with the other restaurants next door to get you to come in. That was somewhat frightening. The food was good, and the decorations were extremely tacky but hilarious. Watched Syriana for the third time...and it still makes me cry and makes me very angry and upset over the fucked-up-ness of the world. Got back really late, collapsed, and...
Today: woke up feeling groggy. Sleep schedule is now sort of whacked out. Went to Trader Joe's (yay!) where the cashier and I had a short conversation about our plans for the weekend. Haha. That place makes me smile. I'm now debating whether or not to bring my laptop to the cafe I discovered on Irving to get some more work done on my play. I think it's the kind of place where I'd be able to sit and write (unlike Starbucks). I think coffee would be good for me right about now. It's 2pm and I'm not fully awake yet. This is fun....Later, having dinner with my aunt, uncle, cousin, mom and Kate.
Tomorrow-Sunday: Paige's Birthday Bash! Woohoo!! (What are we doing, by the way?)
Alyse is coming to visit Sunday!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
Dancing on Sunday night? Somewhere? Maybe? If there's not a torrential downpour?
