Finished!

So, I finally finished reading the Jungle. It wasn't exactly what I expected, as I had heard from several people that it was about turn of the century slaughter houses, but it was about so much more. It was an wonderful social commentary about issues like immigration, minimum wage, fair housing, and corruption in politics. I would definitely one who is interested in social justice issues, if you haven't already read it.
Even more than all that, it was a great story of one man's struggle to live life from day to day in the early 1900's.

Next read(and I'm nearly finished with a third of the book):Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris.
It's the first of the Sookie Stackhouse series that the HBO True Blood TV series is based on. So far I'm enjoying this one almost more than I did the first season of True Blood!
