There's good news...and bad news
The good news is that I’m coming to visit MN for a week starting on Friday, May 2. My plane arrives at 10pm in Minneapolis, so if there are any CSB rugby alumni who would care to show their hospitality (yeah Benedictine values!) I would greatly appreciate a place to crash/a ride to alumni match.
The bad news...I may not be playing in the alumni match. Some of you know that a few weeks ago I messed up my knee during a game and since then have seen several doctors. None of them have been able to pin point anything that’s wrong with it, and have subsequently used the “take it easy” prescription. Not that I have much choice, as I found out this weekend, at this point my knee will not stand up to the elegant violence that is rugby.
While I’m really bummed that I may not be playing with all of you lovely ladies next weekend, I’m still looking forward to seeing and catching up with you all then. Good luck to all current Benny and Johnny ruggers in the All Saints tournament this weekend.
