I had a productive day today!!!   I worked my way through a large pile of dishes (can not WAIT to move somewhere with a dishwasher!!!) and then cleaned my kitchen, including floors and cat bowls even :)

I also put away a whole bunch of clothes that have been sitting clean in a laundry basket, or piled on my trunk at the foot of my bed either clean, or in an almost clean state....   and did one load of laundry.  Would have done all of it, but i was 75 cents short of 2 loads.  Gotta get quarters tomorrow to do the rest.  Including sheets, towels, and the red covers on my wingback chairs have an awful lot of cat hair on them so maybe i can do those this week too.  Maybe i should get some of that hair off first though. :)

Also did some grocery shopping.  Just a little bit, always have more i need to get though.  Wal-Mart was a little picked over this weekend, no bagged spinach, but they did have the more expensive organic stuff in a box....  but the other is cheaper, i want that!

Still need to sort through paperwork and bills that have been paid and need to be filed.  Thats been piling up for a while too.  Also need to pay some of the bills i have now.

I am glad to get that stuff done... all part of me changing things this year.  It may be temporary stuff with the cleaning but it makes me feel better to get stuff started.  I am also going to cut my hair.  It is pretty long right now... i have been growing it for a while though i don't think i can ever get it longer than halfway down my back.  But, cutting it will be another symbol of change.  I have some pics for ideas of what i want so i can easily straighten it or leave it curly... but i don't know how much of a change it will be.  What i really want is Nick Arrojo from What Not To Wear to suggest a hairstyle for me.  Most of the women he does on that show end up looking really good with what he suggested whether they were initially resistant or not.  Oh well, work with what i've got!  I don't know anyone around here good enough for suggestions of what will look good on someone like that.  If any of you know someone in KC... let me know!!

Either way, i am making changes.  Will be moving in May, which is a  big change that i am so ready for.  I will also be ready to not move again for a few years after that.  As in, the next time i move will be because i need a bigger place, i am actually buying a place, or i am leaving kc metro area.

Found a few more ideas for cooking classes too!!  I'm not sure if thats is a career idea or not but it will be fun either way.

I think a lot will be happening this year, at least in my life.  I am ready to get out of a rut that I have been in for a couple years now.  I even baught a journal right after my birthday to use for writing about what i am doing to make those changes for the better.  I need to write in it a little more but it has been a little slow going so far.  I think the new year kicked it in for me.

Hooray for much needed changes!!
