Obama Wins!!!!
..... and missouri is still too close to call. wtf yo! I wanna know what this state did. last i saw it was McCain 2 pts ahead.
So... watched both speeches, both were very good. McCain gave a wonderful concession speech, Obama gave a wonderful acceptance speech. I know you don't get to see the losers interact with their families onstage, because obviously they probably want to move on, but its sad because it is interesting to see that. I like it when I can see the crowd of family on stage and see how much they love each other.
Maybe thats just me though.
I do truly like that Obama makes a point in his speech that it will not be an easy road to fix the country, and it will not be immediate. Also, we all have to sacrifice and we all have to work for it. I think the more he makes that point maybe the more it will stick in Americans minds. We have a thing for immediate satisfaction anymore and the real world doesn't work that way. Hooray for an intelligent president who is realistic!!
Sadly enough, i was watching Stewart and Colbert when they announced it and had to flip back to NBC just to make sure it wasn't a joke. I don't think they would do that kind of joke... but you never know!!
Anyway.... hooray for no hanging chads or any crazy stuff like that. Now its bedtime!
