college is fine.  people are a bit less social and outreaching than I had been led to expect, but maybe we're simply in an initial stage of awkwardness so we'll see how it progresses from here.  but that's not why I'm ranting

I told my advisor PNP, veering toward the cognitive neurosci track.  basically, she took one look at me and assumed premed.  and, of course, she had this whole PLAN for premeds that I should follow.  but what she doesn't understand is this: I don't want to do pre-med.  I'm not really interested enough to seriously consider med school.  I don't want to take bio, and I'll only take orgo because it's required.  so, advisor person (also known as Rob and Anne Kerth's mother), shut up.  don't change my schedule so I have 8am labs, don't take out my psych course, don't take out my bioethics course, because you know what?  those are the classes that I actually want to take.  and, most of all, don't look at me and see asian female and assume premed.

I am so irritated.  I'm going to schedule another meeting asap so I can fix my schedule back to something I actually like.
