It's up to us to find purpose, meaning, and happiness in our lives; we don't need to adhere to silly, tyrannical, and contemptuously immoral sets of commands to find fulfillment. When you get right down to it, being a good and moral person is pretty damn simple. Most people if left to their own devices would probably behave in a decent way. It's a shame that for many reasons they're held back by dogma and let it control and in many cases shorten the time they get to spend here living. I'd like to think I play some small part in spreading the message that the gentlemen quoted above stated so well.
