I made a tweet about this late last night so it'll post later but asdfghjkkjh bandom/fandom, cut that shit out. It irks me so much when a ridiculously written fic gets rave reviews because usually the characterization is off or the concept is ridiculous and not labeled as crack or something.
FOR INSTANCE. I was reading a fic that was...apparently about Multiple Personality Disorder. Newsflash! Even if one of those personalities is female, THE BODY IS NOT GOING TO BE THAT OF A FEMALE. Or vice versa. There is one body. Whatever the gender of that body is is the gender you got. I couldn't even finish this wtfery because I just. AUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.
I read this shit and see the slew of OMGYEY comments and i think 'jeus fuck, I should just write any old shit and it would get commented to hell". But no. I have to have standards. Fuck you, standards.
Vaguely related, I upload/made new icons. Bandom ones. So now I need to get on the lengthy process of scanning new text icons, post haste. And iconning more recent 4chan stuff, for the lulz.
