Okay so I'm researching it a little bit, which basically means reading a ton of crap on the internet but seriously, I think I may be on to something here because while it's not the most prevalent of themes, there's definitely a sort of unspoken THING about bassists doing the lead singer. It's...weird.
I need to research more and there are bandom's which don't follow this unspoken rule [Like, say, the way I hardly ever see anyone write Adam Sisky with William Beckett] but there are a number of others that DO [Brendon Urie with Jon Walker, Pete Wentz with Patrick Stump, 2D with fucking Murdoc, etc, okay?] And it begs this question in my head WHY WHY WHY WHY.
I need to put down my copy of Sex, Drugs, And Cocoa Puffs, obviously. Though I think this does have some merit.
