Participation: I'm planning to be in all day. I would like to complete at least a dozen 30 minute - 1 hour sketches, and I will be concentrating on portraits, though I may veer off into fantasy animals, too. My portraits will be for sale through Portrait Adoption, with prices from $10 to $30. But! For every 6 portraits I complete, I will be rolling a six-sided die. The prompter for that portrait number will receive a web-image of their portrait for free.
I plan to work in graphite, ink and maybe color - possibly even acrylic paint; we'll see how ambitious I get!
Participation: I do wish I'd had a longer heads up for this ; I'll try to spare an hour, perhaps two, I have a mad hatters tea party I am hosting on Saturday so will probably play with that theme. If I can get three detailed sketches done I shall be happy My sketches may be purchased or commission paid for them to be finished if people like. I will probably remain in the realm of graphite
Participation: I'll have to see what's left from 7pm-9pm EST as I was just informed that my work day has been extended to 11 hours. :P So I'll have to aim for two 1-hour sketches in that time, working in graphite and col-erase.
If anyone wants to buy these off me, they may make an offer starting at $10 per picture. Likewise, if someone wants me to continue working on a sketch with the intent to purchase the complete piece, feel free to contact me.
Still not sure how this works, but I'm very interested and I guess I'll just play it by ear and see what everyone else does XD
I will be popping in and out, depending on my 4mth old son and three other children. I would like to try and get as many sketches done as possible min of 6 - hopefully more. I will keep my sketches loose and in graphite, pen and possibly coloured pencil.
To encourage sketches to be turned into finished paintings I will be accepting donations. those who donate will be given a print as a gift. You may wish to commission me to finish any of the sketches. email: lindsay@faeriemajikk.com
