Fires...
Southern California is on fire.
My heart goes out to all the people who have lost their homes, and their lives. I am so grateful for the brave firefighters who are giving their all to protect both life & property.
I am lucky to be far enough away from the fires that I don't have to worry. I'm close enough to feel the effects of the ash & smoke in the air: Sore throat, coughing up mucous, stuffy nose. But really, compared to what others are going through, that's trivial, and I'm blessed.
Stay safe tonight- I'll be praying for safety & healing for everyone affected.
