A Jaime FO Banner :* I allready like your for this one ^^ Not many people (who didn't read the books) like him. I was a Jaime Lover from first sight. And when i found out the Nikolaj is going to play Jaime... i was in total fangirl heaven. :D Beside that we have several tv shows in common like FNL, Castle, GoT, Farscpae, SGA etc. And you also love Thor and the Captain :* Like to be friends?
Really though, what sane person wouldn't want Jaime as their FO banner? - although you do raise a fair point about non-book readers, they'll learn...
So you were familiar with the books before the series aired? I started reading them about mid-season 1 and have read them all now. Eagerly awaiting the next one, so glad Jaime became a POV character.
A friend of mine reced me the books years ago. But i really started to read them 2 years ago. I'm not the fast of a reader (and i currently catch up with Dresden Files too) so i'm at the beginning of book 4. The ratings are good for S2 of GoT so hopefully it gets a third season. And you are right Jaime is going to rock!! :D

The GoT books definitely aren't something you can speed read. That was all I read for a good 6 months last year.
