The move date is near
More on moving:
I get my keys tomorrow!!! I am planning to clean the place tomorrow, then start moving the necessities in Wed and Thurs so I can live there until I move the big stuff on Saturday.
So, I am renting a uhaul on Saturday 1/10. I am picking it up at 9am and should be back to my apartment with it by 9:30. I would like to start loading the truck by 10am. I am moving about 0.5 mile from my current apartment. The biggest hurdle is moving my mother's antique furniture VERY CAREFULLY, especially up the stairs at the new apartment (this could require some guys with arm strength). I do not have a dolly or hand truck. They would be helpful if you have one or the other, but the antique furniture cannot go on them because of the "high-boy" legs. Everything else would benefit from such equipment.
If you think you'd like to help me, please respond to this note. We could do lunch after everything has been moved if people wanted to go out or I could order pizza delivered at the new place or something and we could hang out for a while.
Suggestions are welcome.

I sold the bed this morning, so now I am sleeping on the floor until I move. I am going to IKEA after work today to see about getting a twin mattress for my new loft bed. Maybe I can sleep on that on the floor until I move. My new loft bed will be put together at the new place probably tomorrow (it is currently in pieces in Charles' storage unit right now).
I had a great time dancing this last week and put up tons of photos on FB, eventually to put the photos on Flickr.
