So... you don't really say "Happy Ash Wednesday," do you? I guess not.
Anyway, I do have good news on this kinda let-down day-after...I finally(!) figured out what I'm going to do with my life. And I'm, like, 95% sure that this is what I want to do: Theatre tech. Meaning set construction, lighting, any backstage stuff. The only thing I wouldn't do, basically, would be the acting and directing. It was like a lightbulb the other day. I've always loved helping construct the sets that I ended up acting in front of when doing plays/musicals in school. I also love carpentry (LOVE), but can't see myself as a pure carpenter. I like acting, but more of my favorite moments are helping with the set construction - painting, nailing, etc. So I'm working on restructuring my life plan so I can get my degree at UT sooner than later. And the good thing about this job, like the legal thing I was thinking about, is that there are always theaters everywhere you go. A little more fickle than the law, and not necessarily as good pay, but I'll end up enjoying it more. Which is more important in the long run, I think.
