So Vince was up against RB Reggie Bush from USC for the Heisman. He totally deserved it, since I feel Reg should be disqualified after that Leinart pushing incident during the Notre Dame game. You shouldn't win awards when you cheat. Of course, Bush won. There's something about undeserving people named Bush picking up gigantic numbers of votes lately...
Wow. I'm hostile, huh? Well, just look at this picture:
Vince looks so disappointed. He said in an interview he felt like he let everyone down, including his family. Poor guy!
I am just thankful that he's coming back for his senior year at Texas. He could be drafted this spring no problem, but just like every other kickass junior we've had, they're more loyal to the program. I love that. I also hope that maybe this loss, and the fact that we're going to be facing off against Bush and Leinart during the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AT THE ROSE BOWL, will light a fire under our team so fierce that USC will be trampled. We certainly have a great offense that USC's defense will be hard-pressed to hold back, since theirs sucks. We just need our defense to play better than they ever have - but I have faith. Anyway... USC doesn't have a song entitled "The Yellow Rose of Texas" as part of their band repetoire, whereas we do. That's an omen or something.
