BASTARDS
Wells Fargo just alerted me that they're getting rid of free checking and will now be charging me $7 per month starting in mid-September. Considering $7 is generally my balance, that's RIDICULOUS. Hell, yesterday, it was at $0.44. No lie.
I was wondering if any of y'all have free checking somewhere (that won't be changing soon). Ally Bank - the online one with the commercials featuring kids - is looking more and more like the best idea. No ATM fees, a debit mastercard, and no monthly charge.
The one hitch is that Mom, Sis and I all need to belong to the same bank, since all our monies come from Mom, and she just transfers amounts over to us as needed.
And I say again: BASTARDS.
