This took my mind off of my headache. See, I was an idiot the other night and hit my head REALLY HARD on the large and very heavy cast iron chandelier in the dining room while climbing a ladder to put the star on our Christmas tree. I literally saw more than one star on that tree for a second. (I posted that as a status on Facebook and one of my best friends said, "I wish you could hear me laughing..." which was the reply I figured I'd get from him. He always laughs at my klutziness, in an "Oh, that Em..." way, not in a schadenfreude way.) Got a big ol' knot on the top of my head and jammed my neck, too. So I've been having an even more ridiculous headache for the last couple of days. So, to distract myself, I've been surfing youtube and twitter to find things that I enjoy. This one has had me laughing for the last fifteen minutes.

In completely different news... I didn't mention it, but I went to see the neurologist last week. He was really good and listened to what I had to say. I had an MRI later that evening. He just called me to let me know that they found some kind of abnormality on the scan. YIKES. I now have to have an MRI with contrast for them to figure out what exactly the issue is. Rather scary. I'm hoping it's nothing serious, but there's just an ominous tone to, "well, we found an abnormality..." And, naturally, because it's the county, I can't get that MRI for another three weeks (it's scheduled for 6-freaking-thirty AM on the 11th). So I get to sit with the thought that my brain has something wrong over Christmas/my birthday. I just pray that the new year will bring answers and a fix for these headaches.
