Misc observations
Colin Firth was on The Daily Show the other night. He's still so cuddly. As Bridget Jones' Diary very succinctly put: Hugh Grant is the foxy devilish one you want to sleep with, but Colin's the handsome good guy you should keep.
I realized the other day I have a thing for Scotsmen specifically, and men from the UK in general. Gerard Butler and John Barrowman (Torchwood) are both from Glasgow, and David Tennant was born in Bathgate.
I have now bathed myself in so many clips of John Barrowman (my favorite is his performance of "Sunset Boulevard" from Sunset Boulevard) that I will most likely have dreams of him singing tonight. His version of "Maria" from West Side Story was fabulous, too. Would totally not mind that voice singing love songs to me. Too bad he's gay and totally committed to his partner. But a girl can buy his album and watch his TV show and dream of a major life choice reversal, can't she?
