Sometimes Geico does good work, sometimes their commercials leave me with a, "Huh?" feeling. Like the "Rolling Luggage" one. Still don't quite find that one appealing.
Anyways... Their new set where they have a real person plus a celebrity telling their story is HILARIOUS. I loved the Little Richard one. Charo was totally my favorite. Until tonight. I saw the one with the woman who was rear-ended by a Geico customer, thought of the lizard, and had such a good dealing with them that she switched herself. And as she's telling this story Burt Bacharach sings:
I was hit in the rear
Lizard licks his eyeball
I hope I never get hit in the rear again
OMG. Too funny. Especially since he's sitting at her shitty upright piano in her living room and she's perched on the end of the piano bench. It's just great. Yes, you think of the lizard, but now I'll also think of this song.
