Positive change
So I did something good - for the community, and potentially for me, too. One of the main theaters in town, the State, was flooded on Monday night. A water main broke behind the theater and flooded everything up to the fourth row of seats. Which means that the stage and everything back there is flooded.
I emailed the head house manager and the props mistress (since the props room was flooded) and offered my free assistance in helping them put the theater back together. I sent them my resume so they'd know I that I could give them actual theatre related assistance as well as other stuff like salvaging sets, or whatever. I sent these e-mails last night and I got a very positive response this morning. They both promised that they would call me when my assistance was needed. Yay!!
