Was at my laptop, on my bed, eating my bowl of Special K Red Berries as usual when disaster happened. My hand decided to stop working. My right hand was bringing the spoon full of cereal up to my mouth and my left hand, holding the bowl, just went limp at the wrist. SPLOOSH! Went half of my cereal and milk into my lap. None, thankfully, got into my keyboard. All over my thighs and sheets, however. (The laptop sits on one of those beanbag lapdesk things, and I sit crosslegged in front of it, so I'm physically separated from it. The computer's not sitting on my legs or anything for exactly this type of reason.)
So now, I have learned several new important truths in life that I didn't know before: 1) milk becomes sticky when applied to the skin for more than one second. 2) Special K that has soaked in milk until soggy has the consistency of cat vomit.
