Well, don't I feel silly

I consider myself a musician. Haven't really played anything in a long while, but still consider myself one. Once a musician, always one, I say. I would also consider myself a music fan. And a pop music fan. And a lover of lyrics. So imagine my sheepish embarrassment at learning that I've been singing a favorite song lyric wrong for literally over a decade.

"Turn the Beat Around" - Vicki Sue Robinson or Gloria Estefan (either, though I prefer Gloria's)
Chorus: Turn the beat around / love to hear the percussion / turn it upside down / love to hear the percussion

My version: Turn the beat around / love to hear her passion / turn it upside down / love to hear her passion

It makes some sense when you listen and she's singing about how the syncopated rhythm makes her want to move her body (yeah, yeah, yeah), but still. I feel really rather silly now. Thank the Lord for the internet and things like a Google search for lyrics so I can easily correct things like this before it gets really embarrassing.
