Flu
Hi all,
I got his pretty hard this week. FCAT writes was on Tuesday, and when I got home, I had a temperature of 102.6! I had to drag myself to school on Weds, because I still had to administer the multiple-choice part. It was rough. I got out at 1:30, and drove to the doctor. Basically I had a bad flu, and it's lasted the better part of 5 days. I'm hoping to be 100% by Tuesday, as I only have 3 weeks to get my kids ready for FCAT Reading and Math. I lost 2 good days of teaching, but there was no way I could teach with a fever like that.
I can't wait until FCAT crunch time is over so I can do fun things with my students. We'll do a play for Multicultural night, a research project, and spend more time on science stuff. I can't wait!
