1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Stayed single for a whole year (half by choice haha)
2. Did you keep your new years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions. So no and no.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My co-worker Leanne and my Aunt did!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
U.S.A. (New York City)
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
It won't happen, but in wishful thinking, I'd love to have a less rigid schedule.
7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 27th-May 5th 2006- New York City!
Mid July- Erin's farewell party
July 30th- Best performance of "Body and Soul"
End of July (can't recall the actual date) but Andrew, Erin and my final "hurrah" before she left for Korea.
August 9th- "Spamalot"
August 17th- Willow :)
August 25th-27th- Hi Ho the Dario's!
November 23rd- Jeff Martin show
December 22nd- Yulemas
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Really standing up for myself at work and not taking bullshit anymore. Knowing that it's only a part-time job made me realize that I could just go to work and not get sucked into my boss' crap (there's a mental image for ya).
Also: the MARKS I've received thus far. Holy cripes. :D
9. What was your biggest failure?
My marks for 3rd year. Ouch. Stupid Classics.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Planter fasciitis aka. the reason my foot disabled me practically all summer. Bah!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Well, technically she was free...but the costs added up and she was/is damn worth it: Willow
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Andrew's and Erin's. Both being and doing what they want. Couldn't be more proud of them. Lauren's because she finally was accepted to MIA after 2 years of bullshit classes in college.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed, and disgusted?
No one. Depressed maybe...but they aren't worth mentioning and no, not because I want to be a peacekeeper :P
14. Where did most of your money go?
Willow, food, outings.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
New York City. Man, that was awesome, despite minor problems!
Returning to school (even though I had summer school hahaha) I kicked myself a little because it's an insane workload but really, I remain happy in school. My brain gets a good workout.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Crazy- Gnarles Barkley.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder?---Happier
b) thinner or fatter?--- Fatter (or same?)
c) richer or poorer?---Poorer, definitely but THAT'll change in the new year!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Walking, random exploration, writing (screenplays etc), falling in love with people or reaffirming my love for people.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Working. I'm a friggin' work-horse.
20. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
I have NO idea! It's either Toronto with Jeremy or bad movies and chicken with Adam! LOL
21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Little bit.

None really. I wasn't fucked and chucked anyway hahaha
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Well, I have many. In terms of new faves: NCIS, Grey's Anatomy and Deal or No Deal.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Didn't hate. Never do. I hate actions, not people.
25. What was the best book you read?
'Harry Potter VI' and currently, 'Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister' is REALLY good.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Credit where credit is due, Lin's recommendation of Regina Spektor.
27. What did you want and get?
Days off during the week when in school. Go Wednesday!!!
28. What did you want and not get?
Respect at work, more free time.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Oh man, there were so many. I'd have to say "DaVinci Code" was definitely one of the top 5 though.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went out for dinner and drinking with friends (oh, hilarity) and I turned 21; the legal EVERYTHING.
31.What one thing would have made your year measurably more satisfying?
Sounds weird but more sex.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
More fun/vintagey shirts! Jeans that aren't bland nor $130. Comfy shoes.
33. What kept you sane?
Music, good friends, Willow, being well fed and clothed and housed.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I'm not *that* guy.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The whole "Vietnam Redux" feeling the war in Afganistan is obtaining on a daily basis.
36. Who did you miss?
I miss Erin. I also miss my MAC friends because we're on such different schedules now.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Jessica without a doubt.

Seeing the world as your own person allows you to grow stronger and more satisfied with your decisions and choices.
