Happy Humpday!
It's Wednesday! (It's also Christopher's birthday, so yay!) This is the very first installment of one of my more project-oriented goals, lovingly entitled "Happy Humpday." In a concerted effort to make sure that I'm remembering to acknowledge the things that make me happy every week, I've decided that I'm going to post a handful of those things every Wednesday. It's just a nice little reminder to get me through good times and bad ones, I think.
Happiness is:
Nuthin' But A Glee Thang with Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison & Sofia Vergara from Heather Morris
This just takes SO many of the things I love and combines them: Garfunkel & Oates (well, Riki at the very least + her G&O t-shirt!), Heather Morris, Sofia Vergara, Naya Rivera, allusions to Heather & Naya being besties, 90s rap/90s rap parodies, etc. <3
I listen to some kind of Sunny Choi cover before I go to bed. She's amazingly fantastic, especially her older, less refined stuff. I just love her improvisational style--it's beautiful and calming. Plus, she covers tons of rap and pop and recent contemporary stuff, so it's both beautiful AND relevant. This may not be my favorite one she's done so far, but it's my most recent obsession. (And yes, it's 9min. Good for putting you in a sleeping mood.)
