6 Thoughts for 2006
This is merely myself making comments to myself. They aren't to be taken as advice to others.
1. Love is all you need.
2. When a kid looks up at you and says, "I like to read" or says "I want more homework", remember that you didn't do that, the kid found it within themself.
3. New Mexico is unbelievably beautiful. It feels amazing to live here, to wake up here, to look at the stars. I never thought I'd move someplace and fall in love with it so quickly.
4. Summer jobs aren't important, summer experiences are very important. Screw a fancy internship or job. I want to live and love in Portland this summer - that's it.
5. Resist making long-term plans. Live in the moment.
6. Be a better friend to all of those in your life. Friends make life shine with brilliance.
