SGA 3x14 Tao of Rodney
More incoherency.
It's the Rodney/everyone ep! How could I not love this when Rodney is my lil black dress of the fandom? *squee!*
First off, this read like an sga_flashfic Superpower challenge entry. Hee. Complete with John mentioning about super egos and super appetites. Hee. (I also love how envious he was of Rodney's powers and how he said "I turned into a bug.")
Mila and I bawled our eyes out come the second half. It was that good.
My heart broke during the Rodney and Elizabeth interactions. Him saying nothing good happens to him without awful consequences (my poor woobie!) and how she said he's using his intelligence to compensate for something he's lacking. Awww.
Rodney and Radek - Radek's his right hand man. His apology was heartfelt (and he is self-aware to know what he's doing to people). If I was Radek, I'd probably gape too. Speaking of Radek - whee! Shirtless! And hairy! Hahaha coolness. Only Ronon doesn't have much (any?) chest hair. Oh wait, we haven't seen Lorne shirtless yet... (and wtf Lorne? Where'd you go? Cute haircut though). Anyway, Radek. My love for you knows no bounds. Thank you for being a good friend to Rodney and being the cool, cool guy you are. *smishes Radek*
There should be more Rodney and Teyla interaction. Please, please just put them in a situation where they have to work together. She may not understand his science talk, but she's always been quick to assist him before. Teyla is so underused *sigh* But I love how he said he would serve her.
And... does anyone know what happened to the Athosians? Are they back at the mainland or at the planet where the Ancients dumped them? I want more Athosian interactions, damnit.
The Ronon/Rodney hugs, both of them... *squee!* Hehehe. Buddy! And zomg Ronon picked Rodney up like a child, oh my goodness! So cute. I love how Rodney asked about the scars before he healed them. And Ronon patting Rodney's back oh so awkwardly, hahaha!
I love Elizabeth here. She looks so beautiful, and she was a great friend. She must be the oldest friend Rodney has, aside from Carson, and I'm so glad of their interactions here. Just how long ago did Rodney start the book anyway?
John and Elizabeth look really good together. Huh. Still can't see them together sexually though. But gosh, they're really beautiful people. And they're comfortable with each other. Now this is the way to write canon relationships, people. Duh.
Rodney and John. Oh boys. YOU ARE SO FREAKING MARRIED. Come on, eulogy? Cremation arrangements? Aaawww. And I love what clear blue skies mean to the both of them. Seriously. Guys. Just... I. *flail*
