Forming chakra to walk up to the tree branch where his former sensei stood, Naruto wondered if accepting Jiraiya's invitation to see what was making him so happy was such a good idea. From the perverted grin and the tree hiding spot, it was obvious that the old Sannin was peeping the Hot Springs Spa across the way.
Once he reached Jiraiya, the older ninja pulled Naruto over before dramatically throwing out his free arm and pointing in the direction of the spa. “Behold every ninja's fantasy!”
Naruto's eyes followed along to look at the view and he was not surprised to be seeing easily over the wooden privacy fence surrounding the hot springs. Squinting his eyes to focus while ignoring the giddy Jiraiya, Naruto looked into the bathing area and his jaw dropped at what he found.
In the secluded part of the hot springs were two kunoichi Naruto knew very well, Haruno Sakura and Yamanaka Ino. It was clear that they had finished the training that they had left early for but now were involved in a different kind of physical activity that explained the gleeful grin on Jiraiya's face.
A white towel-clad Ino reclined back against the stone floor with her feet dangling in the hot spring pool while her legs were spread apart to make room for Sakura's head. Sakura sat in the hot spring water in front of Ino, her hands gripping Ino's thighs while she attentively kissed and licked the area between Ino's legs that the blonde's towel did not cover.
As Sakura attentively lathered Ino's vagina with reverence and love, Ino found it difficult to restrain her hips from thrusting upwards at Sakura's mouth. She shifted and used one hand to grab a handful of pink hair and hold Sakura's head forcefully against her crotch. The area became deadly silent, as quiet as the calm before a storm, and Jiraiya burrowed into the deeper brush of the tree and fell into a protective crouch, knowing what was to come.
The girls stormed out of the spa angrily but upon noticing Naruto lying in the road they hurried over to him. When Naruto awakened, he opened his eyes to find Ino and Sakura kneeling on either side of him with their towels in place and hair still wet from the hot spring and looks of mild irritation and concern on their faces.
“Am I in heaven, angels?” Naruto blurted out, still feeling slightly dazed and confused.
Sakura and Ino's irritation faded away at his words and they exchanged a fond glance while blushes appeared on their cheeks.
Still out of it, Naruto didn't notice the fond smiles of the girls and the look on his face shifted to one Jiraiya might use as an especially perverted thought popped into his head. “I'm starved,” he announced suddenly. “How about we have a Naruto sandwich tonight?”
The heads of both girls snapped back to stare incredulously at their crazed Hokage. Each girl gained a twitch in their eye and throbbing vein on their forehead. They shared another look with each other - one not as friendly thinking as the last - before reaching back and slugging Naruto in the face at the exact same time, smashing him flying back into the tree behind him, the force of the collision resulting in knocking the hiding Jiraiya out of the tree and down to the ground.

Stephanie stood silently on the roof ledge, looking out at the Gotham cityscape in front of her. When the roof access door opened, she willed herself not to move and continue facing the city. The footsteps grew closer but she stood proudly as Spoiler and would wait for him to make the first move. If Tim wanted to part for good, she would not start the conversation.
“I'm leaving tomorrow,” Tim said quietly.
Stephanie bit back her outburst, struggling to stay looking at him with only her peripheral vision. “Were you even going to say goodbye?”
Tim was silent for a minute but she endured the silence, unwilling to seem needy.
“No ... Maybe ... I don't know,” admitted Tim finally, joining Stephanie up on the ledge. “I don't blame you anymore. It hurt for awhile, but things are too crazy right now to hold a grudge against you for listening to Bruce. I wouldn't have liked it but I probably would've done the same thing in your position.”
“I didn't like it!” Stephanie piped up, emotion slipping into her voice. “The secrets, the lies, the traps, all of it. I promised myself when your trials were over I'd reveal everything and hope you'd understand.”
Tim sighed and turned to Stephanie, putting his hand on her shoulder. “And things didn't go as planned. They never do. But we learn from it and keep going. Use the bad as much as the good to help push through the pain and do what needs to get done. I should know.”
Stephanie pulled back her Spoiler mask, letting Tim see her blond hair and blazing blue eyes. “I learned I want to be completely open with you, Tim. I know I've been gone but I never stopped loving you.”
Tim stared soulfully into her eyes before turning away and looking out at the city. “And I've learned relationships outside of our line of work don't work. It cost Bruce, Dick is never happy, and I made a lot of mistakes. Maybe we're meant to be alone with Gotham.”
“I don't believe that,” argued Stephanie. “Selina was around for Bruce if he ever looked in her direction. Dick and Barbara are great together when they let themselves in. And Tim, you have me or Cassie - don't think I hadn't heard about that - here for you. Even if you don't want to have a relationship, I'll be here for you always, just like Cass, Dick, Alfred, Barbara, Helena, Dinah, Charlie. It's what family does for each other.”
Tim turned to Stephanie, eyes shining with unshed tears. “And that's why I have to leave, Steph. I know Bruce is still out there, somewhere, waiting for us to bring him back. He's not dead, I can feel it.”
Stephanie reached out and pulled Tim into an embrace. He clutched gratefully to her back, leaning his head against her shoulder. “Then you should go, Tim. Always trust your gut feelings, those are the reactions he trained into us.”
He pulled back just enough to see Stephanie's face smiling up at him. “I know I can't keep you from Gotham, but try not to pick any fights while I'm gone, because when I return I'll want my partner back.”
Before Stephanie could react, Tim leant in and sealed his promise with a kiss. Their lips met softly in the moonlight and they stayed that way for several minutes, neither wanting that moment to end. And when they pulled back from the kiss, both wore smiles on their faces because they knew that kiss would not be their last.
