Valkyrie Skies Pre-Story Notes + TOC
Dipping my hand back into the comic fanfic pool, I bring with me a story that's been a long time coming. I'm throwing the OYL story I started 15 months ago into the dustbin, because OYL just disappointed the hell out of me which was why I never picked back up that story despite having outlined 6 chapters deep. Again I'm doing the DC thing, but I'm focusing on my favorite character this time, Dick Grayson.
PRE-STORY NOTES:
This is an AU story, most of everything up to Infinite Crisis counts. Some of the things that have happened since counts as well, but I'm just picking and choosing bits to keep. The big thing I want to emphasize in this story is that there is movement and aging.
Bruce Wayne dying pushed a lot of the hero world to change. Diana has taken over the throne in Themyscira, Clark has throttled back his involvement in the super-heroics letting Supergirl pick up the slack. The Teen Titans for the most part were dissolved and became members of the new Outsiders. The Justice League is changed slightly to acclimate to the changes. The Justice Society is untouched.
The chapters will be grouped together in story arcs. The first arc, where Dick Grayson returns is 3 chapters. The next arc which involves the forming of his new team will be 5-6 chapters long. Some chapters (like the first) will be rated MA (NC-17), but for the most part the story should rate in the PG-13/R range.
