Chuck 4.08 "vs the Fear of Death"
We're into season 4 people, I think we can stop doing the Sarah slo-mo everytime she walks into the Buy More. I love Yvonne but that is so overplayed now. Also I miss the frozen yogurt cover shop, I guess now that the Buy More is the cover store there is no need for it anymore.
Please don't let Lester and Jeff in on the spy game. Outside of "vs the Couchlock" and "vs the Aisle of Terror", I have not liked at all how Lester and Jeff have been used this season. I really wish the Buy More had been phased out of the show and that time given to more Awesome/Ellie. I hate episodes like this where they are not in it and you really feel it.
Interesting that they brought back the Greta character after a few episodes of non-existence AND this Greta, played by Summer Glau, actually had maybe the most screen time of any of the Gretas so far. (Probably not a coincidence that she is going to be starring in NBC's own The Cape - which reminds me it's too bad Summer gets stuck on these doomed to fail shows: Terminator, Dollhouse, now The Cape because she definitely has a screen presence.)
Another reason I didn't like this episode, I don't like when Sarah & Casey are sidelined. The worst thing about this season has been that Casey is getting the shaft mission wise so that Chuck & Sarah can do their thing alone together. And now Sarah has to sit and watch/worry about Chuck when she is such a badass agent I miss having Sarah and Casey do their thing on missions. I think Chuck should be more of a complementary part to the team and not the lead.
And the Subway in-show advertising was over the top. I'm fine with small bits of product placement but detailing the sandwich and making it a focal point of this episode's Greta was just too much.
