Discomfort
I should totally be sleeping but well.. Thursday I went to the Orthodontist.. and got braces put on to make my teeth all perfect and such. It probably should've been done a few years back but things happened that it never got done. Not only that, but from the xrays taken, it looks like eventually (like within the next 1-2 years) I'll need to get my wisdom teeth taken out before the roots implant them in a nearby nerve. GAH =[
And i must say, these things are bloody uncomfortable. And when food gets stuck in them, ugh. >_< Although when I smile now, the braces make me look a few years younger imo, 18 or something. If you want to imagine kissing a teenager I'm around. LOL. *smooch*
Also I can't imagine putting them on someone younger than a teen, the care that needs to be involved with these without breaking a bracket or wire, I just don't see someone any younger having that discipline.
Not related but YAY at LJ for adding a default tag component box. It's a bit bittersweet because just a few days ago I added a tag box manually. Had to work in the code and read guides on how to do it.. So basically hours of work gone away.
Update on my fics: I've sent Ch 5 of Dumbledore's Secret to my beta, and I imagine she's got a handful with that one. It's a transition chapter with a lot compacted in there. I've planned out nearly all the chapters for the first year. And I've started thinking about the next story I want to work on, it's an AU Harry/Ginny story (no surprise there >_>) but also pre-Hogwarts. At least it starts that way and I think it would be interesting when they got to Hogwarts too. I haven't seen one like what I'm thinking.
I'm also fleshing out the character/planet/group/vehicle/weapon profiles for my original fiction story. It might have a prologue.
