Got my LFWS piece turned in at 10 last night because I completely hated it and didn't want to spend 2 more hours working on something I didn't like. I have no idea what happened this time; all I know is, I came up with a big fat load of nothing. Hoping to not get voted out, but if I do, there's always the comeback round, right?
Zach and I have started watching Criminal Minds recently, and it is seriously good stuff. We've seen a bunch of random episodes, and now we've started from the beginning of season 1 and are watching them in order. Apparently we have a thing for procedurals - the only other shows we watch together are NCIS, NCIS - Los Angeles, and The Mentalist. I'm left to my own devices for The Big Bang Theory and Glee. Can't imagine why. ;-)
If you can track it down, try to watch the episode "Riding the Lightning." You don't have to know a lot about the show, or have even seen the show. This one stands on its own, kind of like "Call of Silence" from NCIS.
It was amazing; it's been a long time since an episode of a TV show sucked me in like that. You know the feeling where you can't look away from the screen and it kind of seems like the rest of the world has been temporarily put in suspended animation? And when it's over, pretty much the only thing you can say is, "Damn..."
OK, maybe that's just me. ;-) I get a little bit too into my TV sometimes. But still. Awesome ep.
