I read yesterday that Flickr is about to change its retention policies, so I went there for the first time in quite a while to plan a kind of general rescue of my old photos.

The very earliest one was dated 2005, and corresponds to one of the first posts I ever made on LJ. Let's see if I can remember how to attach a photo to a DW post, because it ( Read more... )

I'm in Grad school at Hollins University, in the Writing and Illustrating Children's Books program. I eventually want to move back to Oregon.

The school part is wonderful, the GA job that pays my tuition is very stressful. I'm trying to find another campus job that will allow me to stay in school without having to deal with student mental health issues.

Yes, I would love to find some online editing job that where I could earn enough for summer tuition and not have to do the campus job all year round. Its annoying that i can only take two classes only in summer because its a summer program. Also, I earn 6 classes a year and the extra four do not carry over to the next summer. Very frustrating.
