Usagi Drop
So I just spent like two hours of my night watching Usagi Drop and it's already 2am. FML.
But as soon as I started watching, I couldn't stop. It's so beautiful. There's like no plot but it's just sheer beauty. And I think Matsuken isn't even the best actor in that movie. The best acting comes from Mana Ashida, who plays Rin. Honestly, she brought me to tears like three times. I couldn't cry but at least I was tearful. I had a heart attack when I saw the sketchy guy when the kids ran away, but thank god he was only Kazumi's boyfriend. The moment that sort of ruined the movie for me was when Daikichi attempts to kiss Karina. I was like "NOOOOO"! Yea, I'm like being Freudian in Rin's place, it's kinda weird.
I just have one question. Are Japanese maids obligated to have sex with their employers?? Why did Masako sleep with the grandpa?? What the fuck?? That's even more disturbing than having sex with someone who's younger than you, and I find that disturbing.
Also, apparently in the manga, after Rin grows up, she and Daikichi fall in love. Damn, I wanna see that acted out on the screen... Someone coerce the director and cast to make a second movie!
Also also, Matsuken's wife is almost 10 years older than him! Apparently they started dating during the making of Kamui Garden and I watched that movie and it's a piece of shit. What the shit?! Matsuyama, I am so disappointed in you. At least marry someone who is so perfect that it's impossible to complain. How you gonna satisfy your enraged fangirls, huh? You want people blackmailing yo wife 24/7 like what happened to Kimura Takuya? Huh??
