ASDFIJOEWRIUVKJNCLZKP!!!

The movie starts with Scherzo from Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream!! And the first person who gets killed is the flute player who messed up during the concert!  LMAOOO!  Oh my god, I already love this movie.  The Mendelssohn Scherzo is like THE orchestral work that woodwind musicians dread and/or show off their technique with.  It is some hard shit for all of us.  Speaking of which, it wasn’t the highlight of my audition yesterday.   It was the only excerpt that I wasn’t happy about, and it is my best excerpt!   That thing screws you up at the most unexpected moments.  I genuinely feel sorry for that flautist, man.   Hannibal, you gotta give us woodwind players some slack!

Actually, the rest of the movie was a little meh for me.  There actually isn’t much psychological content.  It’s another dude with a history of abuse with very low self-esteem who talks to a painting and goes around killing people.   It’s a very textbook portrayal of a serial killer.   A lot of real serial killers didn’t experience abuse when they were little.  A lot of rapists were never sexually molested in their childhood.   Hannibal is way better of a character, but there isn’t much of him in this movie.  I hate how they make his name such a way that it’s so obvious he’s a cannibal.  Because they rhyme!  Ed also didn’t have too much of a role there.   Police officers are supposed to act rigid anyway.   Overall, the movie wasn’t much of a catch.  And when did Chinese people ever call the Majong card Zhong the “red dragon”??
