So last night, I was off of work and decided to check out this place that's been highly pimped in the LiveJournal Atlanta community.
But a history. A friend of mine from work recommend this place in downtown that I'd really like. So I go there, a place called Rolling Bones. I love it now.
So I saw some threads in one of the Atlanta communities that many people were recommending Fox Brothers near Little 5 Points.
I get there, pretty easily, but parking was a bitch. The small lot was full so I had to park on a side street. I go in there, sit down, order my food and leave.
The overall experience? Very uncomfortable. The waitress acted like she didn't want me there. The food was decent, I got the Brisket plate with Mac and Cheese and fries as my sides. The fries weren't good, but the mac and cheese was good. The brisket was good. But it was just the experience that made me feel like I wasn't wanted there made it drop my overall rating of the place.
Overall, I'm going to keep going to Rolling Bones, at least when I go in there, they give me the feeling like they're glad I'm there and that they want me to keep coming back. I didn't get that feeling at Fox Brothers. So I'm not going to go out of my way to go there like I do with Rolling Bones.
