freakin anatomy
One of these days I should start drawing art that isn't fanart a little more regularly.
One of these days.
Meanwhile though, something possessed me to start drawing pseudorealistic batman/wonder woman art. I love the pairing, don't get me wrong, it's one of the few in DC that I actually ship (as opposed to "hey I don't mind this" or "that's a absolutely hideous idea somebody write it") and I do think there needs to be more (and more varied) fanart of it, but that doesn't explain whyyyy I decided to go with the pseudorealistic route.
It's so much harder to bluff your way through anatomy when things actually have to look right *laughs* If you're stylizing, it's just like 'hey let's make everything all long and distorted. And it will look right, despite being wrong, because it's supposed to!' It's so much easier man. And I am totally lazy and all for doing things the easy way.
BUT ANYWAY. All this kicked off because yesterday night at I-should-be-in-bed-o'clock I decided to go scanning DA to look for bmww fanart, and most of what I found was either them kissing or Batman lookin like a pimp. Which I guess there's nothing wrong with that, per se, (except of course OOC AHH OOC) but there's so much more that could be done. So I started sketching and got this idea and now, a few hours later, here we are.

It is a wonder I ever get anything done.
I HAVE NO IDEA IF I'LL EVEN ADD COLOR BECAUSE COLORING IS A PAIN and i might just go 'no I shall be lazy' and just do everything in black and white. Though really, that's not so much me being lazy as me... sticking to what I know.
I should probably color it.
