i really love my boys. really. and this looks like the first living situation that will remain healthy for me - yay! because we all know that i unwittingly fuck up every living situation i find myself in. candycanes and caramel popcorn, leftover cookies on the kitchen table with a note for them. most everything is gone by the next day. ;) did i mention how FUCKING COOL living with guys is? i'm never going back. they're so much more...CHILL. so non-passive-aggressive like most girls i know (myself included).
they want to come to my graduation. and take me out afterwards. they WANT to do this for me.
at home yesterday i discovered that my mom had completely redecorated my room. it was beautiful. and still mine...but different. sitting on my bed talking. i called 2020 "home" for the first time and stopped mid-sentance. i had never talked about JMU as "home" and even 8709 was not ever really "home." i don't think she noticed or if she did she kept it to herself. but i know she knows how big a deal that was for me.
the smell of pine in my family room assaulting my senses as i opened the door. damn, i love this time of year. even though i don't really consider myself "Christian" anymore, there is just this need in me to celebrate. an intoxication with life, December is its shortlived span during winter.
i need to find a religion. i'm beginning to feel religiously homeless.
